We decided to stay in Jacksonville the night before the play. It was a ghost town but had some great risotto!

We had a really good time but it’s nice to be home, even if it is raining.

Our hotel room at the Jacksonville in was adorable. It was like staying in a dollhouse.

Scooped this vintage Fendi sweater up the other day while my mom were out thrifting. Also managed to score a cute Betsey Johnson mini dress, some great coach heels and a few velvet dresses. It’s been a pretty boring weekend. Super quiet. But the sun came out which is a good thing! A sum of all the inspiration that’s been on my mind this week:

A possibility I threw together for my manager…I spent half my paycheck on those Michael Kors booties and regret nothing! They’re fabulous and I love them.

School is a handful of days away and in all honesty I couldn’t be happier. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons, and even though the cloudy forecast means I won’t be able to wear those Anne Taylor pony hair leopard flats I wouldn’t trade the ominous gloom for anything. Not even Chanel. On another note i’ve noticed how distracted gorgeous interior designs left me lately. I’ve always had a soft spot but now I have folders of inspiration slowing down my internet and filling up my hard drive.

It’s been a great summer and I can’t believe it’s over. So sorry for the crazy slow down in posting! I’ve been out soaking up as much vitamin D as possible!

Sooo the best thing happened a while ago, the September issue came in the mail and among the editorials was one called ‘sweater girl’ that was solid Lara Stone. Some of my favorite shots:

What I wore:

Vera wang cardigan, Vintage Chanel bag, Givenchy Pearls, Raybans, Thrifted leather booties, Random B.P. skirt, Kenneth Cole sweater, Favorite broach.

Tried to keep it simple, and comfy. While sifting through bowls of jewelry I found a new broach! Unfortunately it has some damage so I’ll need to dig out the…hot glue gun?

They play great club music and have more varieties of saké than any other saké house west of the Mississippi.

All in all a wonderful night, I start work tomorrow, and there are no manicures allowed… Wish me luck.

I loved it even more than I thought I would.

By far one of the most fabulous ankle boots of the season; I’d wear them with everything.

It’s getting to the point where I’m spending my Saturdays scrubbing grout with a toothbrush. Yah, I’m that bored.

So if someone could puh-lease help me out, it would be much appreciated.

I decided that I’ve been dressing wayyyyy to serious. So while out shopping with an old friend I stumbled across this fantastic t-shirt. PRADA BUTTERFLIES! I’m so excited. I got these for a steal the other day along with a few other goodies that I will definitely be sharing soon and can’t believe their mine! This is my favorite shade of lipstick out of all of the tubes I own. ‘Grapesicle’ by clinique. Fantastique. I finally found a straw fedora and am lovin’ it.

I ended up buying the entire resort collection that essie put out and had used all of the colors religiously accept for the grey (“Playa Del Platinum”) and I absolutely adore it. Essie nail polish is just like Ralph Lauren paint. No matter what the color is, it always looks sooo good.

I haven’t tried any of the summer collection that came out but the emerald green (“Pretty Edgy”) is seriously intriguing me…

I’ve been doing a lot of thrifting lately, scooped up tons of goodies like a crazy silk leopard print jacket from the 80′s.

It’s the greatest thing ever. We had dinner at Fire on the mountain. Best wings on earth.

Summer pie….mmmmmm

It was amazing, that Ellen is so silly.

I’ll post concert pictures later but for now this will have to do.

So I’ve seen a few of the fall ready-to-wear shows for 2010. Bottega Veneta, Fatima Lopes, The Row, and Todd Lynn (new fav!) And since I’m sure your all sick of my Burberry obsession I’ll skip them (even though it was ah-mazing!). Who really caught my eye this season was Jill Stuart.

This show has convinced me of two things. 1) over the knee boots really are one of the best trends ever. and 2) I’m deeefinitely wearing micro-mini dresses and giant knit scarves for fall. The layering in this show is fantastic.

The make-up and hair for this show was really nice too. I loved the blonde waves with the intense black liner.

Well, I’m off to the starlight parade in Portland.

These Prada’s will be mine!

It doesn’t look like a ton from the outside but it’s wonderfully cozy and the food is some of the best i’ve ever had.

I had the pan-seared halibut with tomato ragu, toas point and black pepper aioli. My mother went with a ‘spring sprung’ salad and Besaw’s famous split pea soup. So so good. Apparently besaw’s was one of the first resturants in Portland and has most of it’s original structures including the bar tile.

So remember the Betsey Johnson crab necklace I wanted? Well unfortunately, not even the Betsey Johnson boutique had it in stock. So I ended up with this instead:

I love it but I still want my crab necklace and am considering ordering it online…but when I was snooping around the Betsey website I saw this new one and thought it would look nice layered with the one I’ve already bought.

So you tell me, the one above or below?

I need help. Major.

I’ve gotten a lot of questions lately about what my ‘casual wear’ consists of. To be honest it’s super basic. Jean cut-offs and big sweaters from the mens section. Here i’m wearing a nice Abercrombie sweater (mens section rules!), My new Rayban aviators, American eagle cut-offs, Juicy couture charm bracelet and some reef flip-flops we picked up in Coronado…The only place on the island that carried flip-flops and everything’s 30$ it was ridiculous.

My dutch brothers Cocomo Latte (new fav. by farrrrr) got cold while I was driving so when we stopped for some food I bought a pound of assorted gummy things. So for the rest of the trip my mother was feeding me strawberry dinosaurs while I passed semi’s on the freeway. I almost bought a bunch of sugarfree gummy things but a passer-by worker asked if I knew they were sugar-free despite the giant “SUGARLESS” sign on the jar and then proceeded to show me the wall of Gummy things.

Soooo delicious, I’m chomping on a jumbo-shark right now.

So while my mother and I were shopping a while ago we stopped into sephora and saw a bunch of crazy things. Apparently tokidoki makes cosmetics now…Which we found a little odd. Don’t get me wrong their stuff is even more ah-dorable than the Harajuku lovers stuff but going from clothing to make-up is a bit of a shift.  However, the cheeky girl checking us out at the counter told us that the liquid eyeliner rivals urban decays 24/7 cream pencils (I was buying a new one at the time in mildew). So I guess we’ll see.

Sorry these pictures are kind of ‘ishy’ all I had was my iPhone… you get the idea.

Although the idea of paying 10$ for nail files is silly the purse necessities they make are crazy-cute. Keychains, mints, everything you could ever need is there in ah-dorable little packaging.

I’ll be sharing a list of essentials quite soon but for now I’m going to bed.
